Rabbit rabbit rabbit

Hello development workers, small groups advisors, forum co-ordinators, organisational support workers, BME capacity workers, neighbourhood project advisors, community engagement officers – in fact, anyone whose job involves giving hands-on support to groups…

I’m running the peer group session on development. We’ve got an hour to talk about pretty much anything, so I’m really very keen to narrow this down to a couple of key things that you feel are burning issues of the moment. Here are some of the recent topics on NAVCA’s DWnet email network:

  • Last trustee standing / dissolving an Industial & Provident Society
  • Training needs analysis and skills audits
  • Examples of charitable objects
  • Evaluation forms for using with groups

Any of these appeal? Anything new and important that you want to test out on other development workers?

If you’re a development worker, leave a comment or register here to get more involved.
Thanks
Liz Kettle

Peer Group Session

Chief Officers of NAVCA members have a ‘peer group’ session on Tuesday 16th September from 12 noon to 1pm. Only an hour so we need to be focussed to use the time well. Please use this blog to suggest the topics you would like to raise with your peers. If you prefer to be confidential please email me kevin.curley@navca.org.uk

Can we meet and not talk about Capacity Builders!

See you in Nottingham.
